Dear Riley Families,
Earlier this morning, you received a phone call from School District 21 which served as a reminder of our upcoming curbside pick up dates for student materials. As you can imagine, each school’s parking lot is configured differently and each school has slightly different pick-up procedures in place. This email follow-up is a reminder of Riley’s School’s specific procedures.
We will be offering the families the opportunity to pick up their children’s materials during the following windows:
Families should drive to school. Walk-up distribution is not available at this time. Please pull through the front driveway and stop just past the front door. There will be a stop sign in place. As families approach the school during these pick-up times, please display a sign in your car window with the following information for EVERY student:
For your safety and the safety of our staff, families shall NOT get out of their car when they arrive at school. Staff members will bring student items out to the car and place items directly in the trunk. If your child has books checked out from the school library that need to be returned, please place these items in a bag in your trunk before leaving your home. Staff members will collect the items from your vehicle.
All CCSD21 students in grades K-5 will keep their Chromebooks over the summer. If you are leaving our district; however, you will need to return your Chromebook to our district office at 999 W. Dundee Road in Wheeling as soon as possible after school ends on June 9.
