Kindness Challenge to Send Mrs. McCulley Out With a Splash!

Kindness is encouraged everyday at Riley, so let’s take it a step further to end our 2017-2018 school year strong by kicking off a Kindness Challenge! Mrs. McCulley is retiring this year and is willing to be part of an incentive for students to spread kindness.  Riley’s S.P.I.N. Club will sponsor this Kindness Challenge from May 1st-May 31st. Students and staff are challenged to perform as many acts of kindness as possible. Kindness acts can be performed at school, in the home, or in the community. However, with each act of kindness performed at school, students will fill out a Kindness Act sheet stating the kindness act he/she completed and put it in our designated bucket with the chance to send Mrs. McCulley out with a splash in a dunk tank! We will have an assembly on May 31st where kindness sheets will be picked at random for a chance to dunk Mrs. McCulley. The more kindness acts completed, the more chances you have to send Mrs. McCulley splashing into the water! Attached are some random acts of kindness ideas that can brighten someone’s day.

We believe that kindness matters and has the power to change the  world for Good! Please encourage your child to complete as many acts of kindness as possible so we can show the world that kindness matters! The work we do during this special month will only emphasize what we strive to accomplish every day in our school, which is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all. Thanks to Mrs. McCulley who is willing to splish splash her way to retirement to encourage kindness!

Thanks for your kindness,

Miss Zawadzki
