Riley’s SPIN Club will be holding a Sock Drive
October 14th-25th

Socks are in high demand for the homeless in the winter, but they’re one of the least commonly donated items. Riley wants to get a head start with collecting socks before the cold months. You can help out by donating new pairs of warm adult men and women’s socks. All socks will be donated to Journey The Road Home located in Palatine, which is a non-profit agency that provides shelter, social services and housing to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in the north/northwest suburban Cook County.
We will have a friendly competition between our school’s houses. Which house will donate the most socks? Red? Green? Blue? Yellow? Mr. Olsen will have a surprise for the winning house.
